Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacist to provide expert-level pharmacy consulting and clinical services in a retail setting.

You will educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options, and deliver services including immunizations and medication therapy management. Maintain medication safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance, while mentoring team members in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
