Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacist to provide expert pharmacy consulting and patient education in a retail setting. Immunizations, medication therapy management, and ensuring safe dispensing are core duties.

You will educate patients about medications, monitor outcomes, and collaborate with the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality care while supporting growth and development opportunities within Walgreens.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting to patients.
• Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical services including immunizations and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative environment.
