Job summary

Walgreens in Texas is seeking a pharmacist to deliver compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting, educate patients on medication usage, and provide immunizations and medication therapy management.

You will ensure medication safety, mentor staff, and participate in a comprehensive benefits program including PTO, flexible scheduling, and tuition discounts. Active licensure and PharmD/BS are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver immunizations and diagnostic testing as applicable.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance.
