Job summary

Walgreens in the United States is seeking a Pharmacist to provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting, educate patients on medication usage, and deliver immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.

You will ensure medication safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance, mentor staff, and contribute to a patient-focused team with growth opportunities and access to Walgreens University and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
