The role requires an active Illinois Pharmacist License, knowledge of IV medications, and strong organizational skills with the ability to supervise pharmacy technicians. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., offering $60–$62 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receipt, storage, and distribution of medications, including refrigerated and specialty items.
• Manage inventory by ordering medications and supplies, reducing waste and expirations.
• Maintain compliance with USP standards and state/federal regulations.
• Verify medication orders prior to preparation and shipment.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians in inventory management, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Coordinate with sterile compounding pharmacists and technicians to ensure availability of medications and supplies.
• Review controlled substance inventory and maintain documentation.
• Perform cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and quality audits.
• Collaborate with purchasing, nursing, and operations to ensure timely delivery.
• Use pharmacy software and inventory systems to track medications and supplies.
