Job summary

Walmart Health – Walmart Pharmacy in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to deliver pharmaceutical care, counsel patients, and lead immunization programs. You’ll work to the top of your license, applying clinical knowledge in a fast-paced community setting.You will ensure HIPAA compliance, mentor staff, and uphold company policies while partnering with customers and physicians to optimize health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
• Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
• Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (e.g., APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders.
• Counsel customers regarding healthcare and prescription medication needs.
• Administer immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Model and guide pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches.
