Job summary

Genoa Healthcare is hiring a Staff Pharmacist to join our team in the Johnstown area. You will process prescriptions, provide medication counseling, and support immunization services while upholding regulatory standards.

Qualified candidates hold a PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy, PA license, immunization certification, and valid driving credentials to cover Johnstown/Indiana/Pittsburgh/McKeesport regions. This role emphasizes customer service and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
  • Current pharmacist license in state of PA.
  • Immunization certified or willing to obtain LAI license/certification.
  • Ability to travel in the Johnstown/Indiana/Pittsburgh/McKeesport area.
  • Driver's License and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
  • Provides information to customers about medications and their use
  • Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
  • Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
  • Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

We seek aStaffPharmacisttoperform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
  • Provides information to customers about medications and their use
  • Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.00 - $79.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
