Job summary

Baptist Health in Downtown Jacksonville is seeking a Pharmacist to join the Central Pharmacy team. This full-time role covers central pharmacy, IV room, and OR Satellite with shifts from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM and every fourth weekend.

You will supervise technicians, validate orders, consult with medical staff, and support clinical pharmacology activities in a hybrid sense within the central pharmacy at Baptist Jacksonville.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist - State Board of Pharmacy Required.
• Licensed Pharmacist - DOH Required.
• Bachelor of Science Required.

Responsibilities

• Entering orders with great accuracy.
• Checking technician work for accuracy prior to release of medications and solutions to the floor.
• Supervising technicians and serving on committees as assigned.
• Answering questions for all health care professionals.
• Serving as a consultant for members of the medical staff.
• Monitoring patient therapy as assigned, including pharmacokinetics services.
