Job summary
Guardian Pharmacy of Boise is expanding its team in Boise, Idaho. We offer a fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on customized medication management for seniors and individuals with complex care needs.
Join us to oversee dispensing processes, supervise technicians, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver high-quality care. A PharmD or Bachelor's in Pharmacy and a state license are required; 1+ year of experience is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Pharmacy) or PharmD required.
- State Pharmacist License without restrictions.
- Experience in pharmacy operations and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare medications for dispensing accurately.
- Review orders and cycle-fill medications for accuracy.
- Verify legality and feasibility of dispensing per patient needs.
- Interpret prescription orders with patient safety in mind.
- Adhere to Federal and State Board regulations.
- Oversee technicians and provide feedback to supervisor.
- Answer questions from patients and clinicians.
- Monitor inventory and place orders when below par.
- Log medication error occurrences.
