Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a full-time Adult/PEDS Pharmacist Floater to oversee daily medication management activities within hospital units. The position requires a Pharm.D. or equivalent, completion of PGY1/PGY2 residencies (or equivalent experience), and California pharmacist licensure with BLS certification.

The full time Adult/PEDS Pharmacist Floater at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California is responsible for the daily organization and supervision of medication management activities in their areas, including but not limited to provision of clinical and drug distribution services and other duties as assigned.

Pharmacists serve an important role in the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe medication use and clinical care for our medical and surgical patient populations.

This is a 10 hour position with rotating days/evenings and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

Educational Requirements

• Ability to prepare drugs needed for immediate administration.
• Ability to provide recommendations and monitor the use of drugs.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations and standards relative to pharmacy practice.

• Ability to evaluate medication regimens to meet the therapeutic needs of patients.
