Job summary

PharmcareUSA is seeking a registered pharmacist to join our team in Zebulon, North Carolina. We are a growing national long-term care pharmacy provider dedicated to patient care and compliant operations.

The successful candidate will oversee technicians, handle calls, maintain state licensing and ongoing education, and verify medication orders for accuracy. We offer medical, dental, vision, 401K and PTO for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Adhere with all State Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations.
• Maintain required Continuing Education credits.
• Maintain current licensing by the State(s) in which they practice.

PharmcareUSA is a growing, privately operated National LTC pharmacy provider operated by pharmacists. We are looking for an energetic, patient caring, critical thinking, person that can communicate, both written and verbally.

We are looking for the person that desires to organize, lead, and manage when called upon. Pay is based on experience.

Previous LTC experience is a plus, but not necessary for the right candidate.

Essential Functions

• Assist and manage pharmacy technicians as required and as necessary.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
• Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment up to 100% of the time;
• Regularly required to talk and hear in order to communicate effectively over the phone and in person;
• Must be able to see 100% of the time to recognize medications, detect inaccuracies, and observe the work of others;
• This position is very active and requires standing for long periods, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping;
• Must be able to lift and/or transport materials weighing up to 25 pounds, up to 10% of the time;
• Must be able to tolerate normal office/pharmacy environment and exposure to various medications
