Job summary

Pacer Group in West Burlington, IA is seeking an inpatient pharmacist to dispense medications prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners and to provide patients with information about their medications. The role may include advising on drug selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects to ensure safe pharmaceutical care in collaboration with the support staff.

The position offers an evening shift (3:00 pm – 11:00 pm) with weekend and holiday rotation.

Job description

Schedule:

Evening shift (3:00 pm – 11:00 pm) | Weekend and holiday rotation required.

Pay Rate:

$3,600 to $3,800/week.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

• The inpatient pharmacist will dispense drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners and provide information to patients about medications and their use.
• May advise physicians and other health practitioners on the selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects of medications.
• Provides safe and effective pharmaceutical care to customers while working with support staff.
• Previous Epic experience within the last 12 months preferred.
