Office of Personnel Management in Washington, DC seeks a Pharmacist (GS-0660-14) to provide pharmacy expertise supporting health benefit programs. As a Pharmacist with the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, Healthcare and Insurance, you will provide pharmacy expertise supporting health benefit programs; analyze complex pharmacy benefits, formularies, drug utilization, pricing, and pharmaceutical data; develop policy recommendations; evaluate industry and regulatory developments; and advise stakeholders on pharmacy benefit design, quality, cost, and member access.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PHARMACIST GS-0660-14
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service, or equivalent performing ALL of the following:
Education: A doctoral degree in Pharmacy that is recognized by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.
Licensure: Applicants must be licensed to practice pharmacy in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
Experience: Applicant's qualifications background must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary to perform the work of the position. Pharmacy work requires knowledge of the use, clinical effects, and composition of medications, including their chemical, biological, and physical properties. Qualifying professional pharmacy experience may involve, but is not limited to:
Basic Requirements for the GS-14 (or equivalent) Grade Level In addition to the licensure and educational requirements described above, a minimum of one year of professional pharmacy experience that is equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level.
