Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Pharmacist in good standing.
• Board certification in a pharmacy specialty preferred (e.g., BCPS, BCACP).
• Experience in federal, tribal, or Indian Health Service settings preferred.

You will work on-site as a key clinical contributor, ensuring patients receive safe, effective, and culturally responsive medication management.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense and verify prescription medications accurately, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance
• Conduct medication therapy reviews and consult directly with patients on proper drug use, dosing, and potential interactions
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to optimize patient medication regimens
• Monitor patients for adverse drug reactions and intervene appropriately to prevent medication‑related harm
• Maintain accurate and complete pharmacy records in accordance with federal and facility requirements
• Manage controlled substance inventory and ensure DEA compliance at all times
• Provide clinical guidance and drug information support to the broader care team as needed

What Sets Candidates Apart:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Prior experience providing pharmacy services in a federal, tribal, or Indian Health Service facility
• Familiarity with serving Native American or other rural, underserved patient populations
• Experience working in an ambulatory care or outpatient clinic pharmacy setting
• Board certification in a pharmacy specialty (e.g., BCPS, BCACP)
