Qualifications

• Active Florida Board of Pharmacy Registered Pharmacist License.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed pharmacist.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and occasional holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial review and verification of all incoming medication orders.
• Conduct final pharmacist review of packaged medications prepared by pharmacy technicians.
• Communicate with healthcare facilities to clarify prescription orders and resolve discrepancies.
• Oversee daily pharmacy workflow to ensure operational goals and turnaround times are met.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to pharmacy operations and workflow processes.
• Ensure compliance with all Florida Board of Pharmacy regulations and company policies.
• Support staffing and operational needs to maintain efficient pharmacy performance.
• Collaborate with technicians and pharmacy staff to optimize workflow and patient service.
• Assist in quality assurance initiatives and medication safety practices.
