Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure safe medication use within our inpatient rehabilitation setting.

You will contribute to policy development, participate in interdisciplinary rounds, and ensure accurate interpretation, compounding, and dispensing of medications in line with Joint Commission standards and applicable regulations. Qualifications

• State board licensure in good standing for the state where the hospital is located.
• Degree from an accredited pharmacy program or equivalent.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily pharmacy operations to meet customer and patient expectations.
• Contributing to development of pharmacy policies and procedures in compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements.
• Active participation in the interdisciplinary team, leveraging information for positive patient outcomes.
• Accurate interpretation, compounding, and dispensing of medications in adherence to professional standards.
