Job summary

Shasta Regional Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a per diem Pharmacist to join the hospital's pharmacy team in California. You will coordinate pharmacy operations, ensure patient safety, and support care across general medicine, ICU, obstetrics, pediatrics, emergency services, and outpatient care.

Requirements include a current California pharmacist license and hospital pharmacy experience; BS in Pharmacy is required, with DOPharmacy preferred, and BLS/ACLS certifications are

• The scope of patient care provided may include General Medicine/Surgical, ICU, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.

The scope of patient care provided may include: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred

Facility Specific Requirements (as applicable required):

• APhA Immunization Certification and BLS required.

Pay Transparency

Shasta Regional Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $75.58 The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
