Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Phoenix/Scottsdale campus is seeking a licensed pharmacist to oversee distribution, drug therapy monitoring, education and supervision. The role requires collaboration, organization and effective communication, with attention to life-span considerations.

Full-time schedule includes Monday–Friday 2:00pm–10:30pm with every third weekend and holiday rotation. Arizona license is required; the position offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) required.
• Arizona license to practice pharmacy required.
• Hospital experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Distribute medications and monitor drug therapy.

• Assess data reflecting patient status and interpret information for age-specific needs.

Responsibilities

Distribution, drug therapy monitoring, education and supervisory functions. Must collaborate with others, organize well, accomplish tasks, solve problems and communicate effectively. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span. The ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's age‑specific needs is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) required.
• Hospital experience desirable.

License / Certification

Current license to practice pharmacy in the State of Arizona.

$118,249 - $177,465 / year; education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
