Job summary

St. Mary\'s General Hospital in Passaic, NJ is seeking a Hospital Pharmacist for a per diem role. Under supervision, you will coordinate pharmacy operations to ensure safe, high-quality pharmaceutical care across general medicine, ICU, obstetrics, pediatrics, emergency, oncology and other departments.

The position requires a current state Pharmacist license. Hospital experience preferred, with a BS in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred) and BLS/ACLS certifications as assets.

Qualifications

• Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital.
• Ensure patient safety across General Medicine/Surgical, ICU, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, coordinates the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital, while ensuring patient safety. The scope of patient care provided may include: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.

Pay Transparency

St. Mary's General Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $56.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
