Job summary

You will fill prescriptions, monitor inventory and ensure proper storage and security of drugs, including controlled substances, while delivering patient counseling and support to customers and staff. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PIC to establish schedule.
• Open 8 a.m.–8 p.m. weekdays; 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Saturdays; 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Sundays.

Pharmacist - Float

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Pharmacist - Float to fill an opening with one of the nation's leading pharmacies in Owensboro, KY.

Daily Responsibilities for the Pharmacist - Float:

• Fill prescriptions, monitor inventory levels and ensure proper storage and security of drugs, including controlled substances/narcotics
• Provide patient counseling and discuss challenges to medication adherence
• Create a positive pharmacy department image through strong service, friendliness and cooperativeness with customers, associates and outside vendors
• You will work with the PIC to establish schedule
• Weekdays - Open from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
• Weekends - Open from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturdays 10 - 5 on Sundays

Required Qualifications for the Pharmacist - Float:

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
• Current pharmacist licensure in good standing

Preferred Qualifications for the Pharmacist - Float:

• 1 year of retail experience
• Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing)

Pay Details:
