Job summary

Ahhmgt in Minnesota seeks a Hospital Pharmacist to ensure high-quality patient care under the Pharmacy Director. You will plan, organize, supervise, and assist in delivering pharmacy services to patients and physicians.

Preferred qualifications include completion of a ASHP-approved Hospital Pharmacy Residency and prior hospital pharmacist experience; a Louisiana Pharmacist license and Basic Life Support are noted expectations.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program approved by the American Society of Hospital Pharmacists preferred.
• Previous experience as a Hospital Pharmacist desirable.
• Current license from Louisiana Board of Pharmacy.
• Basic Life Support (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality of care for all patients through clear understanding of Pharmacy Department responsibilities.
• Plan, organize, supervise and assist in providing acceptable Pharmacy Service to all patients and physicians.
• Oversee activities related to appropriate Pharmacy Service in the hospital.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Director, insures the quality of care provided to all patients by the clarification and understanding of the responsibilities of all members of the Pharmacy Department. Plans, organizes, supervises and assists in providing acceptable Pharmacy Service to all patients treated at this institution. Is responsible for all activities related to the accomplishment of appropriate Pharmacy Service for patients and physicians.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: Completion of a Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program approved by the
American Society of Hospital Pharmacists preferred. Previous experience
as a Hospital Pharmacist desirable.

Education: Current license from Louisiana Board of Pharmacy.
