The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Murdoch Developmental Center seeks a Pharmacist (NS) to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to all treated individuals in accordance with state and federal laws and guidelines.
Responsibilities include drug information, drug utilization review, monitoring, and education within our capacity, ensuring compliance with MDC standards and professional guidelines. Staff are designated essential for weather events and emergencies.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive and accurate pharmaceutical care to all persons treated at MDC in accordance with Federal and State laws, rules, regulations and guidelines. Services for drug information, drug utilization, drug interaction, drug monitoring, drug interpretation, medical education or any drug related services within our capacity will be provided for everyone in compliance with Department of Health and Human Services and ICF-IDD standards.
