HealthCare Support Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist Consultant (Hybrid) for PBM in Montvale, NJ. You will serve as a clinical advisor to clients, shaping formulary and clinical strategies that improve outcomes, manage trends, and deliver value.

The role requires NJ-licensed pharmacist with 5+ years in PBM or healthcare consulting, plus a strong background in program development and DUR, and proven cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Active NJ Pharmacist License in good standing.
• 5+ years of PBM, clinical account management, or healthcare consulting.
• Must have PBM experience.
• Strong background in clinical program development and drug utilization review.
• Provided ongoing client support and promoted clinical products.
• Collaborated cross-functionally with product development and customer service teams.
• Clinical expertise in pharmacy benefit design and population health management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the clinical expert for assigned client accounts, providing clinical guidance on benefit design, program performance, and population trends.
• Maintain the client playbook and have full knowledge of each client's benefit design, formulary, and customizations.
• Track and manage PMPM cost trends and clinical risk for assigned clients.
• Support new client onboarding by recommending appropriate clinical programs, formularies, and benefit setups.
• Collaborate with Care Management, Prior Authorization, Plan Build, Client Experience, Formulary, Underwriting, Marketing, and Analytics teams.

Clinical Pharmacist Consultant (Hybrid) - PBM - Montvale, NJ

HealthCare Support is looking for a strategic, client-focused Clinical Pharmacist Consultant who is passionate about transforming the pharmacy benefits experience. In this highly collaborative role, you'll serve as a trusted clinical advisor, partnering with clients to develop innovative formulary and clinical strategies that improve outcomes, manage trends, and deliver exceptional value.

Daily Responsibilities

• Serve as the clinical expert for assigned client accounts, providing clinical guidance on benefit design, program performance, and population trends.

Compensation

• Competitive base salary of $102,000 - $191,000 USD + up to 10% annual bonus

Required Qualifications
