Job summary

Jushi Holdings Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist in Virginia to ensure high-quality cannabis consultations, compliant patient care, and adherence to state regulations. This role focuses on patient guidance, safety, and policy compliance in a fast-paced environment.

The Pharmacist will lead store staff, conduct consultations by phone and in person, guide product selection and dosing, and support onboarding to drive company growth while upholding our culture of care.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Virginia Pharmacy license and be registered with the Board of Pharmacy.
• Pass a comprehensive background check.
• Strong team management and communication skills.

• MS Office proficiency with multiple software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and train store staff on compliance and best practices.

• Guide cannabis product selection, dosing, and administration.
• Identify process improvements to support growth.

This role is charged with ensuring that patient care by way of consultations runs smoothly, efficiently, complies with state regulations, complies with company policies, and supports our initiatives. Actions and efforts must positively contribute to the overall culture and company mission. Compliance, compassion, and quality care is a core focus for our Pharmacist.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead by example through being the ultimate illustration of service, dedication, pace and energy

• Mentor, motivate, elevate and inspire the managers and store staff through continual training on compliance, products, and company best practices

• Adhere to and promote the company culture of positivity, professionalism, and compliance with policies and state regulations

• Conduct over-the-phone and in-person consultations and follow-ups to ensure that patients and caregivers are receiving accurate and helpful information in a caring and compassionate way

• Follow policies and procedures and execute all company programs for customer service, patient and visitor management, state compliance, and safety and security guidelines

• Guide patients and employees with cannabis recommendations including product selection, effects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration

• Identify and develop process improvements to assist with company growth

• Guide patients and employees with cannabis recommendations including product selection, effects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration

• Effectively and diplomatically handle employee or customer concerns and complaints while interfacing with the Store Manager and the Regional Manager

• Report any issues or complaints relating to the product to the Manager, Quality and Compliance Manager, and the Director of Operations in real-time

• Assist with onboarding and training of new Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technicians

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Must hold an active Virginia Pharmacy license and be a registered medical professional with the Board of Pharmacy
• Must be willing to submit and pass a comprehensive background check
• Strong team management and personal communication skills
• Ability to thrive within a fast-paced environment
• Strong compliance and regulation attitudeExcellent oral and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and focused
• MS Office proficient with the ability to utilize and navigate multiple software platforms with ease
• Knowledge of cannabis
• Must be flexible regarding work schedule including evenings, weekends, opening and closing

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT

• Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks
• Frequently sitting, standing and walking
• Occasionally reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, use a telephone, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 50pounds
• Occasionally Twist/bend/stoop/squat, kneel/crawl
• An environment with moderate to loud noise level
