Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a travel assignment in Longview, TX. You will provide pharmacy services with a focus on pharmacokinetic dosing, neonatal medication knowledge, and emergency medicine in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The position offers a travel-friendly schedule, 13-week term, and a weekly pay of $2,976. A Doctor of Pharmacy or BS Pharmacy degree plus state licensure are required, with BLS/ACLS and PALS certifications preferred for pediatric care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or BS Pharmacy degree required.
• Pharmacy state licensure required.
• BLS/ACLS certification required (AHA only).
• PALS certification required for pediatric practice (AHA only).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense drug orders per physician request according to established policies and protocols.
• Interpret and transcribe/verifies drug orders accurately into computerized patient medication records.
• Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals, including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition products.
• Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications and interactions.
• Perform pharmacokinetics consult service and renal drug dosing per hospital protocol.
• Provide clinical consultation and clarification to practitioners as appropriate.
• Maintain current pharmacist license and ensure continuing education requirements are met.
