Job summary

The VIOS Clinic is seeking a Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care, including dispensing, patient counseling, and immunization administration. The role emphasizes community health initiatives and ethical practice in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

  • Requires a Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent.
  • Must hold an active pharmacy license.
  • Completion of ACPE Accredited Immunization training program.
  • Strong communication and professional judgment; adaptable and community-focused.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately dispense prescriptions with patient safety in mind.
  • Counsel patients on medication use and health concerns.
  • Administer immunizations and support community health programs.
  • Maintain confidentiality and proper documentation of controlled substances.
  • Lead and model excellent customer service and teamwork.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, regulations and safety protocols.
  • Use data and community insights to improve care and address health issues.
  • Promote safety, reporting of errors and continuous improvement.
