Capstone Health is seeking a Pharmacist for a 13-week travel assignment in Hebron, NE. You will provide specialized pharmaceutical care, advise physicians on drug therapy, and ensure safe, accurate dispensing while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

The role requires a Nebraska license and a PharmD is preferred. You will support LTC facilities and collaborate with medical staff on therapy optimization, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized pharmaceutical services and advise on drug therapy
• Prepare and dispense medications with accuracy and compliance
• Maintain relationships with medical and nursing staff for timely information
• Conduct medication use reviews and suggest therapy modifications
• Ensure secure storage and inventory of medications
• Respond to medication-related queries while maintaining HIPAA compliance
• Mentor healthcare professionals and provide consulting to contracted LTC facilities

• Providing specialized pharmaceutical services and advising physicians on drug therapy
• Preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements
• Maintaining relationships with medical and nursing staff, offering timely pharmaceutical information
• Conducting medication use reviews and suggesting modifications for optimal patient outcomes
• Ensuring secure storage of medicinal products and maintaining inventory
• Responding to medication-related queries and maintaining confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
• Mentoring healthcare professionals in training and providing consulting to contracted LTC facilities

Requirements for this role include:

• Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited school and current Nebraska pharmacy license
• PharmD preferred
• Need 3 years experience in retail pharmacy setting
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a smoke-free, climate-controlled environment with potential exposure to hazardous drugs
