Job summary

Asante is seeking a Pharmacist at Spears Cancer Center in Grants Pass to deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care and supervise technicians and interns. You will engage in clinical functions including dosing, monitoring, and patient education, while adhering to Oregon and federal regulations.

The role utilizes Epic Pharmacy software, automated dispensing cabinets, bedside barcoding, and supports participation in resident and student precepting. Experience with oncology support is a plus.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with Oregon Board of Pharmacy required at start.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider must be certified within 90 days of start.
• Preferred Certifications: Pharmacy Specialty Certification; Immunization Delivery Certification.

Additional Position Details: FTE: 1.000000 | Full Time | Variable Hours/Variable Days | This position is at our Spears Cancer Center in Grants Pass

Starting Wage: $67.26-$92.49 per hour, depending on experience

Position Summary

As a Pharmacist with Asante, you will be responsible for the delivery of comprehensive pharmaceutical care and daily supervision of the pharmacy technicians and interns according to federal and Oregon state laws and department regulations. Our pharmacy practice settings include centrally located and unit-based pharmacists who perform therapeutic interchanges, IV to PO switches, renal dose adjustments, pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring, warfarin dosing and monitoring, anticoagulation monitoring, drug level monitoring, antimicrobial monitoring, patient education, and many other clinical functions. You will also have opportunities to participate in Code Blues and precept pharmacy residents and students. Additionally, we use Epic Pharmacy software and Omni-Cell Automated Dispensing Cabinets, Electronic Medical Administration, and bar-coding at the bedside.

Qualifications

• RPh: Registered Pharmacist by Oregon Board of Pharmacy required upon start
• BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required within 90 days of start
