Qualifications

Job Description

• Accept and dispense prescription medications.
• Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns.
• Ensure that the supply of medicines is within the law.
• Ensure that the medicines prescribed to patients are suitable.
• Accurately maintain confidential records of all patients and pharmacy files.
• Advise patients about medicines, including how to take them, possible reactions, and answer questions.
• Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications regarding storage, dosage, side effects, and interactions.

Critical Information

• Critical Information Shifts: M-F 10:30-7; no weekends.
• Onsite work environment.
• Compliance with pharmacy regulations and record-keeping standards.

Education / Licenses Needed

Doctor of Pharmacy degree required. Licensed by the state pharmacy board.
