Job summary

Jushi is seeking a Virginia-licensed Pharmacist to provide compliant consultations and high‑quality patient care for medical cannabis needs. You will guide patients and caregivers on product selection, dosing, effects, and safety while ensuring adherence to state regulations and company policies.

The role requires strong leadership, staff training, and collaboration with store and regional teams to uphold quality, compliance, and compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Virginia Pharmacist license and board registration in good standing.
• Experience in patient counseling and cannabis/clinical settings preferred.
• Strong understanding of state regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example as a service‑oriented, dedicated professional.
• Mentor and train store staff on compliance, products, and company best practices.
• Adhere to and promote the company culture of positivity, professionalism, and policy compliance with state regulations.
• Conduct over-the-phone and in-person consultations and follow-ups to provide accurate information to patients and caregivers.
• Follow policies and procedures and execute all company programs for customer service, patient and visitor management, state compliance, and safety guidelines.
• Guide patients and employees with cannabis recommendations including product selection, effects, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration.
• Identify and develop process improvements to support company growth.
• Report issues or product-related complaints to the Manager, Quality and Compliance Manager, and Director of Operations in real time.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.
• Maintain an active Virginia Pharmacy license and be a registered medical professional with the Board of Pharmacy.
• Willingness to submit to and pass a comprehensive background check.
• Strong team management and personal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong compliance orientation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; detail-oriented and focused.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to navigate multiple software platforms.
• Knowledge of cannabis and related products.
• Flexibility regarding work schedule, including evenings, weekends, opening and closing shifts.
