Job summary

Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care, distribute medications, counsel patients, and monitor therapies. You will supervise support staff and may assume Director of Pharmacy responsibilities in their absence.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (or Pharm.D.) and be licensed to practice in Texas. This on-site role requires strong patient communication and collaborative teamwork within the pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm.) is the minimum requirement.
• Licensed to practice in Texas.
• Pharmacist registration in the state of Texas required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care through drug distribution and patient counseling.
• Fill medication orders, monitor therapies and provide drug information.
• Supervise and direct supportive staff in pharmacy operations.
• May assume Director of Pharmacy duties when the director is absent.

Responsibilities

Staff Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, patient counseling and teaching. Staff Pharmacists fill orders for medications, monitor patient’s drug therapies and provide drug information. Staff pharmacist supervises and directs supportive staff. In the absence of the Director of Pharmacy, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the Director of Pharmacy.
