Job summary

Pacer Group is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to deliver pharmaceutical care and support safe, effective medication management. The ideal candidate will have clinical dosing, therapeutic monitoring, IV medication preparation, and compounding experience. Night shift, 7-on/7-off schedule.

Responsibilities include verifying orders, dosing, monitoring drug levels, preparing IV medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure safety and efficacy of therapy.

Qualifications

• Clinical dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, and therapeutic monitoring experience.
• IV medication preparation and compounding experience.
• Knowledge of IV piggyback and IV push medications.
• Strong knowledge of medication safety and pharmacy practices.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, safety, and appropriateness.
• Perform clinical and pharmacokinetic dosing as required.
• Monitor therapeutic drug levels and recommend appropriate medication adjustments.
• Prepare and compound intravenous medications according to established standards.
• Prepare and dispense IV piggyback and IV push medications.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy.
• Ensure compliance with medication safety standards and pharmacy procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support safe medication management.
• Float within scope of practice as needed.

Job description
