Job summary

Ambe Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The Pharmacist will safely prepare and dispense medications, review prescriptions, provide medication counseling, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a PharmD, active license in the applicable state, and experience in hospital, clinical, or specialty settings.

Qualifications

• PharmD or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Active Pharmacist License in the applicable state.
• Current BLS certification preferred/required by facility.
• Experience in hospital, clinical, retail, or specialty pharmacy.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, safety and regulations.
• Excellent communication, clinical judgment and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Requirements:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent pharmacy degree from an accredited program.
• Active Pharmacist License in the applicable state.
• Current BLS certification preferred/required based on facility requirements.
• Previous hospital, clinical, retail, or specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication safety, and pharmacy regulations.
• Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with electronic medication management systems/EMR.
• Experience with medication reconciliation and clinical pharmacy services.
