Job summary

Georgia Mountains Health Services, Inc. in Blue Ridge, GA, seeks a Pharmacist to oversee 340b compliance, dispense prescriptions accurately, and manage retail pharmacy operations within our Federally Qualified Health Center.

The role collaborates with clinicians, ensures adherence to federal/state regulations, and provides patient counseling while supporting inventory control and audits. Hours are Mon-Thu 8:30am–5:30pm and Friday 8:30am–5:00pm; no weekends, nights, or on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college.
• Experience with 340b program management and/or retail pharmacy operations preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification
• Bilingual in Spanish is highly desired.
• Passing pre-employment drug screening and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with 340b program regulations and retail pharmacy polices.
• Accurately dispense prescriptions and provide patient education on medication use.
• Assist in inventory management, ensuring proper purchasing and utilization of 340b medications.
• Conduct audits and maintain records to support 340b compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Work collaboratively with pharmacy staff and healthcare providers to enhance patient care.
• Provide coverage as needed to support pharmacy operations.

Position Summary:

Georgia Mountains Health (GMH) is a Federally Qualified Health Care (FQHC), Primary Care facility that is mission driven to provide access to care by providing professional, compassionate and affordable, quality healthcare to our communities.

Our pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacist for the Blue Ridge, GA, Georgia Mountains Health Primary Care facility location. Hours are M-Th 8:30a-5:30p Friday 8:30a-5p. No weekends, no nights, no on-call, and closed on major holidays. No vaccine administration.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable retail Pharmacist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the 340b drug pricing program, optimizing patient care, and managing retail pharmacy operations. The Pharmacist will also collaborate with healthcare providers, oversees medication dispensing and ensure adherence to federal and state pharmacy regulations.
