Job summary

HealthCare Support Staffing, Inc. seeks a Registered Pharmacist In Charge in Blacksburg, VA to lead the pharmacy team and ensure high-quality patient care. The role offers a flexible schedule, including every other weekend, with a 40-hour workweek and open hours 8 a.m.

to 8 p.m. on weekdays. Responsibilities include filling prescriptions, inventory management, patient counseling, and scheduling technicians to meet pharmacy goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
• Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing.
• Retail Pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions, monitor inventory levels and ensure proper storage and security of drugs, including controlled substances/narcotics.
• Provide patient counseling and discuss challenges to medication adherence.
• Complete scheduling of technicians and support sales and goals of pharmacy department.
• Shift: flexible schedule as Pharmacist Leader; may require every other weekend.
• Weekdays open 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.; weekends 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturdays and 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Sundays.

Pay Details

• $127-166K (Based on experience)
• Premium Pay Incentive
• Annual Bonus $8k - $15k

Shift

As the Pharmacist Leader, they will need to be flexible! | Must be willing to work every other weekend

• 40 hours a week, Days & autonomy to create your own schedule!

Daily Responsibilities for the Registered Pharmacist In Charge

Required qualifications for the Registered Pharmacist In Charge

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
• Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing
• Retail Pharmacy experience

Preferred qualifications for the Registered Pharmacist In Charge

• Relevant Pharmacy Board Certification(s)
• Equivalent combination of education and experience in business management
