Job summary

Catalent, Inc. in Massachusetts is seeking a GMP-focused operator for a 2/2/3 shift (6:00pm–6:30am), 100% on-site. You will operate equipment per SOP under direct supervision and assist with spray drying, blending, encapsulation and packaging.

No prior experience required; 1 year GMP experience is preferred. You must be detail-oriented, able to follow procedures, and maintain accurate batch documentation while upholding GMP and EHS standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year GMP experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail is required.
• Basic GMP understanding is preferred.
• Must have the ability to follow procedures and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment per SOP under direct supervision.
• Execute GMP manufacturing operations across unit operations.
• Perform cleaning and sanitization (CIP, COP, manual).
• Accurately completes batch documentation in real time.
• Handle materials, staging, and transfers.
• Perform basic inspections and escalate deviations or safety concerns.
• Maintain compliance with GMP and EHS requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Performs cleaning and sanitization (CIP, COP, manual)
• Accurately completes batch documentation in real time
• Handles materials, staging, and transfers
• Performs basic inspections of equipment and processing areas; Identifies and escalates deviations, safety concerns, or equipment issues
• Maintains compliance with GMP and EHS requirements
• Other duties as assigned

The Candidate

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Prior experience is not required; 1 year of GMP experience is preferred
• Strong attention to detail is required
• Basic GMP understanding is preferred
• Must have the ability to follow procedures and instructions

Pay

• The anticipated hourly rate for this position in Massachusetts is $24.00 - $26.00. The final hourly rate offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Catalent is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
