Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to build relationships with healthcare providers and key stakeholders in a defined territory.

You will lead the development and execution of integrated plans, deliver clinical product presentations to physicians, and leverage digital tools and AI insights to optimize customer engagement and sales results. The role requires a BA/BS (Life Sciences preferred) and a track record of exceeding sales targets, with the ability to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences field or related area.
• Proven ability to achieve/exceed sales targets in a territory.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales is preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and account management skills.
• Comfort with digital tools and AI-enabled engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and/or exceed sales goals in an assigned territory by developing a territory business plan.
• Identify key influencers and achieve customer interaction expectations with top target customers.
• Plan and organize activities for regular territory coverage per action plan.
• Deliver product presentations to physicians and health care professionals.
• Understand health care delivery and physician hierarchies within assigned accounts.
• Develop product and market knowledge; analyze local trends to inform the business plan.
• Collaborate with peers, brand team and support partners to enhance customer experience.
• Manage territory budget to support sales and marketing activities.
• Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner and execute brand strategy.
• Participate in training and development programs and leverage AI/digital tools to personalize interactions.
• Learn and apply new technologies to improve productivity and outcomes.
• Maintain adherence to all policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of exceeding results.

Join Syneos Health in partnership with a large Biopharmaceutical company as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative (PSR). The PSR role is responsible for building relationships with recognized experts, healthcare providers (HCPs) and prioritized stakeholders.

The successful PSR will:

• Achieve and/or exceed targeted sales goals in an assigned territory by developing, implementing, and executing an integrated territory business plan encompassing key accounts with the goal of maximizing sales
• Identify key influencers and achieve designated customer interaction expectations with a focus on top target customers
• Plan and organize activities to ensure regular and consistent coverage of the territory according to a plan of action
• Deliver clinical brand specific presentations of product(s) to physicians and other appropriate health care professionals
• Develop a complete understanding of the health care delivery system within each assigned customer, including the physician hierarchy, key pharmacy personnel, clinical nursing staff, etc.
• Develop deep product and competitor knowledge and understanding of local and regional market trends
• Analyze local trends, identifying long and short-term goals to craft a strong product business plan
• Collaborate and partner with peers in the sales organization, brand team and other support partners to deliver an extraordinary customer experience
• Manage territory budget to support sales and marketing activities
• Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner
• Execute the company brand strategy and tactics within their assigned geographic area
• Participation in training and development programs
• Leverage AI-driven insights and digital engagement tools to personalize healthcare provider interactions and improve customer experience.
• Adapt to emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and automation tools, to enhance productivity, customer engagement, and business outcomes.
• Maintain adherence and compliance with all corporate, industry policies and procedures
• BA/BS degree required, Life Sciences preferred
• Business to business sales experience or internship experience and/or sales degree or 2+ years of pharmaceutical experience
• Ability to identify key decision makers, develop positive relationships and strong customer dedication and influence prescribing habits
• Ability to learn, apply, and communicate products and disease states
• Proven track record of success in exceeding results
• Team player who can also work independently, highly collaborative and motivated to succeed
• Strong communication, business analytics and account management skills
• Strong digital acumen with an interest in adopting innovative technologies, including artificial intelligence, to drive performance and operational efficiency.
