Job summary

PharmaLogic is seeking a Pharmaceutical Production Technician to join our radiopharmaceutical production and QC team, supporting, maintaining and improving synthesis modules and analytical equipment in a regulated environment.

You will operate PET production processes, work in ISO 7/ISO 5 cleanrooms, and help ensure cGMP compliance and safety while contributing to patient care through accurate records and reliable systems.

Qualifications

  • Background in chemistry or sciences or advanced electronics/military training, or equivalent.
  • Experience in laboratories or with analytical instrumentation (HPLC/GC) preferred.
  • Experience with ionizing radiation and radioactive equipment is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are required.
  • Working knowledge of cGMP environment and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate cyclotron for PET production.
  • Operate and maintain synthesis modules and analytical equipment.
  • Perform PET radiopharmaceutical production in ISO 7 and ISO 5 environments, and QC in a cGMP setting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory commitments and company policies including radiation safety.
  • Maintain records to comply with FDA requirements.
  • Clean and maintain production areas (hot cells, laminar flow hoods, etc.).

Role: Pharmaceutical Production Technician - $30.00 to $32/hour

Varying shifts: 10 pm to 6:30 am; 12am to 8am; 3am to 11:30 am; 6am to 2:30 pm

Reports to: PET Facility Manager

Role Summary

As a Pharmaceutical Production Technician, you will play a vital role in the operation, production and QC of radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. The position involves maintenance and repairs of some equipment such as chemistry modules and analytical equipment. You will be expected to assist in facility maintenance, system repairs, PMs, and system modifications to increase your expertise and ensure system reliability.

Job Responsibilities and Duties
  • Operate cyclotron for PET production.
  • Operate and maintain synthesis modules and analytical equipment.
  • Perform PET radiopharmaceutical production in cleanroom ISO 7 and ISO 5 environment, and Quality Control (QC) in cGMP environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory commitments and company policies and procedures including cGMP and radiation safety.
  • Maintain records to comply with FDA requirements.
  • Clean and maintain production areas (hot cells, laminar flow hoods, etc.)
Job Requirements | Skills | Education
  • Academic background in chemistry, sciences or completion of training at an advanced electronics school or military training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in laboratories, medical devices, analytical instrumentation (HPLC and GC) or equivalent preferred
  • Experience working with ionizing radiation and radioactive equipment a plus.
  • Experience troubleshooting, performing repairs and maintaining equipment.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Working knowledge of cGMP environment and regulations.
