Job summary

Simtra-Biopharma-Solutions in Bloomington, IN, is hiring multiple Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Operators to support Fill, Finish, and Inspection operations. The roles ensure production of safe, high-quality medicines in cGMP environments.

If you are a hands-on technician, detail-focused inspector, or mechanically inclined problem-solver, we want you. As an Operator, you will perform equipment setup, line operation, and batch record documentation, while following aseptic techniques and cleanroom

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work in a regulated, cleanroom environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate/maintain equipment.
  • Willingness to learn aseptic techniques and GMP procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to GMP and SOPs during manufacturing.
  • Record batch steps in logs and batch records.
  • Operate equipment and machines on assigned lines.
  • Perform aseptic gowning and cleaning as required.
  • Set up, sanitize, and teardown rooms and equipment.

Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Operator - Shift 3

Overview

Join our growing team at the forefront of pharmaceutical manufacturing! We are hiring multiple Manufacturing Operators to support key functions in our Fill, Finish, and Inspection operations. These positions ensure the production of safe, high‑quality medicines in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Whether you're a hands‑on technician, detail‑oriented inspector, or mechanically inclined problem‑solver, we have a role for you!

Pay Range

$20.00 - $26.50 (hourly)

Shift Hours

10:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Available Operator Roles
  • Filling Operators (aseptic processing, equipment setup, machine operation)
  • Formulation Operators (weighing, measuring, mixing of ingredients)
  • Preparation Operators (equipment and component preparation)
  • Capping Operators (container closure operations)
Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Record steps in batch records, logbooks, and other required documentation
  • Equipment and Machine Operation
  • Perform aseptic techniques and cleanroom gowning (for select roles)
  • Conduct setup, cleaning, sanitization, and teardown of rooms and equipment
  • Perform material verification, line clearances, and reconciliations
What We're Looking For

  • Comfortable working in regulated, cleanroom environments
  • Mechanical aptitude or experience operating complex machinery is a plus
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; technical training or experience preferred
Physical Requirements

This position is physically and technically demanding within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role requires individuals to stand for extended periods and perform precise, repetitive tasks while adhering to strict GMP and cleanroom protocols. Candidates may be required to lift and handle materials or components weighing 50 to 70 pounds. For some roles, candidates may need to pass a visual acuity test (20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses) and a color blindness test. Final candidates will be required to pass a post‑offer/pre‑employment job placement examination that tests the physical capabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
