Job summary

Afton Scientific in Charlottesville, VA is seeking an entry level Finishing Operator to support sterile liquid medication manufacturing. You will perform visual inspections, labeling and packaging of products, and operate finishing equipment under cGMP and PDA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Preferred: GMP/FDA experience and QA knowledge.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Finishing Operator to support our growing manufacturing operations in Charlottesville, Virginia. The Finishing Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products. You'll be responsible for visual inspections of our sterile liquid medication, along with some labeling, and packaging of products according to established procedures and cGMP regulations under the oversight of the FDA. This is an entry level role ideal for those who are recent graduates or just entering the work force. Training and support provided.

Compensation

$23.00 – $26.00 per hour

Placement within the range will be based on qualifications, relevant experience, internal equity, and demonstrated competencies.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in GMP and FDA-regulated manufacturing environments
• Associate degree or higher
• Familiarity with QA principles and cGMP standards
