Job summary

Aveva Drug Delivery Systems in Miramar, FL seeks a Blender Operator I to perform pharmaceutical blending and compounding following batch records and SOPs. You will handle APIs, potent compounds, solvents, and hazardous materials in a cGMP environment.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, material dispensing, in-process checks, GMP documentation, and maintaining clean, inspection-ready areas with strict safety practices.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in pharma/regulated manufacturing.
• Experience with potent compounds or hazardous materials preferred.
• Ability to read and execute batch records and SOPs in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform blending and compounding per approved batch records and SOPs.
• Handle APIs, potent compounds, adhesives, solvents, and other hazardous materials.
• Assemble, operate, clean, and sanitize blending equipment and related systems.
• Perform raw material dispensing, weighing, staging, and verification.
• Conduct batch record calculations, material reconciliation, and yield checks.
• Complete in-process checks, sampling, and coat weight verifications as required.
• Monitor process parameters (temperature, speeds, vacuum, pressure, times).
• Maintain GMP documentation and ensure inspection readiness and data integrity.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support production schedules and safety.
