Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit in Providence, RI is seeking a Security Officer to monitor premises, enforce policies, and respond to incidents, delivering professional customer service.

You will perform surveillance, access control, emergency response, incident reporting, patrolling, safety inspections, and collaborate with site management and emergency responders to maintain a safe environment for employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Surveillance: Monitor security cameras and patrol to identify risks.
• Access Control: Verify identification and issue visitor passes.
• Emergency Response: Respond to alarms and emergencies promptly.
• Incident Reporting: Document incidents and concerns accurately.
• Patrolling: Conduct routine foot patrols of the facility.
• Customer Service: Assist and inform employees and visitors professionally.
• Safety Inspections: Identify and report safety hazards.
• Conflict Resolution: Address disturbances calmly.
• Collaboration: Work with team and emergency responders as needed.
