Job summary

ProStar in Whippany, NJ is seeking a Forklift Operator (Reach) to join a GMP‑regulated pharmaceutical packaging warehouse. The role requires safely moving materials, operating reach forklifts, and supporting general warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment.

Shift is 2nd shift, 3:00 PM – 11:15 PM, with pay rate $18.00 per hour. Office location and hours are provided by the employer. The candidate will utilize WMS and scanners to track inventory and ensure compliance with GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in GMP-regulated warehouse environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with moderate to high noise.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and scanners.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload products, pallets, and materials.
• Transport materials throughout warehouse and production areas as directed.
• Stack and organize pallets in designated storage locations, ensuring stability and accuracy.
• Follow warehouse layout procedures to maintain proper inventory flow.
• Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections, including batteries, forks, tires, and safety features.
• Report damage to products, pallets, racking, or equipment immediately.
• Assist with inventory control, including counting, labeling, and stock verification.
• Load and unload trucks while following safety procedures and weight restrictions.
• Utilize scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory movement.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to GMP and warehouse safety standards.
• Support general warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and organizing materials when not operating a forklift.
