Job summary

Hikma Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking a QA Inspector to monitor in-process quality for filling, inspection and packaging of parenteral products.

You will perform in-coming checks, material sampling, and documentation with a focus on cGMP compliance. This full-time role requires standing for most of the shift and lifting up to 15 lbs. A related science degree with 0–2 years’ experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in science or a Bachelor’s degree with 0–2 years of related lab/pharma production experience.
• 0–2 years of relevant lab or pharmaceutical production experience (QA preferred).
• Proficient mathematical skills (basic operations, conversions, rounding).
• Familiar with cGMPs, EU CFR and the USP.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Strong communication with peers and management.
• Computer systems literacy to navigate data inputs.
• Must pass respirator requirements for Inspector position.
• Able to stand/walk ~85% of shift and lift 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable onsite attendance and punctuality.
• Perform in-coming tasks: pallet checking, raw material sampling, review of test results, release of components and materials.
• Contact QA Coordinator or QA Supervisor for daily line assignments.
• Sample/verify controlled substances during in-coming monitoring and sampling.
• Pass frocking qualification for controlled areas and respirator requirements.
• Sample using analytical instrumentation such as balances, glove boxes and gases.
• Move pallets of raw material using a pallet jack.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safe working conditions.
• Document sampling/inspection/test results clearly per SOPs.
• Support production or validation per QA Supervisor instructions.
• Participate in weekend rotation and may work overtime to support production.
