Job summary

Katalyst CRO is seeking a Project Engineer to lead medium-size equipment and facility projects in a GMP environment. You will apply project management knowledge and engineering expertise with minimal supervision to move initiatives from concept through closure across disciplines.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in the field, a Bachelor’s in Engineering, and hands-on experience with automation, validation, FAT/SAT, and working with cross-functional teams including suppliers and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; equivalent technical experience.
• GMP-regulated industry experience is preferred.
• Experience with equipment commissioning and qualification.
• Familiarity with automation and controls engineering.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support capital projects in the manufacturing plant, including front end planning activities.
• Coordinate multiple parties to complete project scopes on schedule, stay within budget and meet the expected quality.
• Assist with design of new equipment systems from preliminary design, specifications, budgeting, scheduling, and construction management.
• Develop project schedules including targets for milestone activities and deadlines.
• Review drawings, supervise contractors, and participate in final project acceptance upon completion.
