Job summary

Zoetis, the global leader in animal health, is seeking a Packaging Specialist to join the packaging team in Michigan. You will perform general production tasks, inspect and package products, and manage material handling and line setup with high attention to quality.

The role requires following batch records and SOPs, operating packaging equipment, and maintaining documentation in a safety-minded, lean production space. Shift details and overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math, English communication, legible penmanship and reading comprehension are essential.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions with accuracy.
• Basic Microsoft applications and general computer skills are required.
• Effective interpersonal communication and a positive outlook are important.
• Mechanical reasoning and troubleshooting skills are needed.
• Strong mechanical skills and experience with hand tools are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tasks comply with batch records, SOPs, and safety guidelines, as well as cGMP standards.
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot and make minor repairs on packaging equipment.
• Monitor and adjust processes or equipment to maximize quality and efficiency.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all tasks.
• Provide leadership to line operators and communicate with support staff and leadership.
• Collaborate to maintain production schedules and meet objectives.
