Job summary

AOB Recruitment seeks an experienced Packaging Supervisor/Manager to oversee day-to-day packaging operations in a regulated manufacturing environment in Virginia.

The role emphasizes planning, scheduling, leading packaging personnel, and ensuring compliance with cGMP, FDA, OSHA, and SOPs, with focus on bottling lines.

You will optimize resources, manage ERP data, and drive training and quality improvements while maintaining safety and production targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Pharmacy, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of packaging supervisory or management experience in pharma.
• Hands-on Bottling packaging line experience.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP requirements.
• Experience with investigations, deviations, CAPAs, change controls.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute packaging activities based on production requirements.
• Ensure packaging operations meet quality and production specs.
• Oversee packaging equipment utilization and materials.
• Manage ERP data entry related to packaging.
• Oversee cleaning verification/validation of packaging equipment.
• Train staff on SOPs, cGMP, CAPAs.
• Promote teamwork and accountability.
• Develop employee capabilities and adherence to procedures.
• Address performance and personnel issues.
