Job summary

LNK International, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of OTC pharmaceuticals, seeking a Packaging Maintenance Mechanic to ensure packaging lines run safely and efficiently.

The role requires hands-on maintenance of bottling and packaging equipment, adherence to cGMP, and collaboration with QA, Engineering, and Production teams. The position emphasizes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to maximize equipment reliability and product quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic, or consumer packaged goods industries.
• Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting packaging equipment, such as bottle fillers, capper, labelers, cartoners, blister packaging machines, case packers, conveyors, serialization and coding equipment, vision inspection systems, and inkjet coders.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, sensors, and automated controls.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and prepare packaging equipment and packaging lines for production runs.
• Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on all packaging equipment according to established schedules and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair packaging equipment during production runs to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues on packaging machinery.
• Understand and follow all SOPs and maintenance curriculums applicable to the position.
