Job summary

BE&K Building Group is seeking an MEP Superintendent to lead field activities, coordinate with owners and architects, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence on complex projects.

The role requires pharma experience and deep expertise in electrical and automation controls, with willingness to travel and strong leadership to guide trade partners from startup through turnover.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of construction experience with electrical focus.
• Experience coordinating with owners, architects, and trade contractors.
• Strong safety, QA/QC, and schedule management abilities.
• Ability to develop and maintain baseline schedules and logistics plans.
• Must have pharma industry experience and expertise in electrical/automation controls; willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site activities ensuring OSHA compliance.
• Direct field personnel per project plan.
• Communicate issues, events, performance, and progress daily to the Project Manager.
• Report problems to facilitate cost-effective solutions.
• Establish working relationships with Clients, BE&K team members and subcontractors.
• Lead pre-construction safety meetings and project turnover activities.
• Maintain the project baseline schedule and ensure work aligns with contract requirements.
