Job summary

Novartis Group of Companies in Morrisville, NC seeks a Technical Steward to lead advanced manufacturing technologies and drive process excellence across global networks. You will act as a trusted SME, partnering with development teams and operations to implement new standards and optimize manufacturing performance.

The role requires a BS in Pharmacy or related field with at least five years in oral solid dosage manufacturing, GMP knowledge, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or related scientific discipline.
• Minimum five years of experience in oral solid dosage pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Experience supporting process improvement, technology transfer, validation, or manufacturing science.
• Ability to investigate technical issues, analyze data, and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as SPOC for interface with global MS&T network and define new technical standards.
• Serve as site SME for specific manufacturing process technologies and DoE.
• Partner with global teams to implement technical standards and innovations.
• Lead process optimization to improve robustness, efficiency, yield, and performance.
• Provide technical expertise for equipment selection, qualification, validation, and capital projects.
• Support technology transfers, scale-up activities, and manufacturing readiness.
• Drive technical investigations, risk assessments, and root cause analysis.
• Deliver technical training and share knowledge to strengthen capabilities.
